Join The Mustangs Band
The Western Mustang Band is open to all Western students and its affiliates. You don't have to be in the Faculty of Music to join—our members come from all faculties and years of study.
The Western Mustang Band operates as a marching band (Fall Semester) and a pep band (Winter Semester), providing opportunities to perform at various campus events and athletic games.
Western Mustang Band (Fall Semester):
The Pride of Western is the largest and loudest college marching band in Canada. One of the oldest college bands in Canada, it performs at on-campus events and represents Western University abroad in parades.
Mustang Pep Band (Winter Semester):
Performing at Western hockey and basketball games, the NCAA-style pep band offers a fun environment with less time commitment than the Fall marching band.
